Snake Den Road(edit)

Take the green otter hole trail from the parking lot. Proceed past intersections with the blue, white, red, and yellow trails until you reach the end of the green trail as it T-bones the blue trail. Otter hole is just 100 feet down the blue trail to your right (south). Turn left onto the blue trail. You will continue on the blue trail past the yellow trail intersection, then continue into the white trail. Soon after switching onto the white trail you will find Chikahoki Falls. For a more rigorous hike, turn left onto the yellow trail toward Carris Hill. There are several nice overlooks. Continue through several overlooks to Wayanokie High Point. [for a slightly easier altitude gain, continue on the white trail past the Carris hill turnoff. Turn left at the red trail and it will meet the yellow trail at the Wayanokie High Point] Follow the blue trail north off the point as you descend. There will be signs for the Weis ecology center. The blue trail will bring you back to the green trail, turn right (east) to return to parking.
