Rob: Mt. Ellinor
Great hike, with LOTS of amazing views. Too bad it was COMPLETELY in the fog/clouds the entire way.
Crazy elevation towards the summit there's a set of KILLER stairs towards the end.... definitely a leg burner. We stopped just short of the summit due to time, but this will be one to go back when it's clear out
Surprisingly a fair number of hikers for this late in the season, but not too bad. Made for a really good run down !

Mount Ellinor Lower Trailhead to Mt. Ellinor winter route, Mason County, WA, USA
Scramble up the chute then glissade most of the way down the snow except where there was a tree! Steve thought 50 degrees at steepest. Used crampons - suggests using points between the wide steps in steepest part
