Grandeur Peak
Overview
This is a difficult one way trail to Grandeur Peak in Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. It features terrific views of the Salt Lake City valley.
This trail goes by Church Fork.
Getting Started
The trail is in Mill Canyon, which requires a $3 fee per vehicle. You pay when leaving the canyon and can use cash or credit/debit. The actual trailhead parking is at the end of the Church Fork picnic area but there's only room for maybe three cars so parking along the road is a good option. In the off season, it's the only option as the gates to the picnic area will be closed.
Follow the paved road as it meanders through the picnic area until you reach the trailhead. When you reach the intersection with the Pipeline trail you need to head just 50 feet or so West until the Grandview trail picks up again to the North.
