Overview
This is an easy one-way trail in Ecola State Park from Ecola Point to Indian Beach. The trail used to follow the coastline but washed out. A new, rerouted trail opened in late 2020. The new route heads inland, near the Ecola Park Road, adding ~0.9 miles and elevation. No views except at the endpoints. Expect a muddy trail unless hiking during the summer.
Getting Started
Park either at Ecola Point Day Use Area or Indian Beach or plan a car shuttle. A daily Oregon Parks pass is $5. Bathrooms are available at both trailheads.
Taking Children
A relatively easy hike suitable for children. The trail can be slippery with lots of mud. Tree roots cross the trail.
