Wy'East Basin via Vista Ridge Trail #626(edit)

Overview

This is a easy one way trail to Wy'East Basin in Mount Hood National Forest.
This trail winds through burned areas from the 2011 Dollar Lake fire, then eventually enters unburned forest just before it emerges above treeline.
The Vista Ridge Trailhead stays closed due to snow until mid-summer, and the upper portions of the trail can remain snow covered well into July.
