Fifteenmile Creek Loop Hike 9Aug2021
An August stroll in 75-degree weather. Five miles of walking an often exposed ridgeline northeast, descending 2,000 feet to Fifteenmile Creek, and then five miles walking southwest along the shady creek bottom to the trailhead, slowing gaining back the 2,000 feet of elevation. Very much the dry side of the Cascades--more Ponderosa pine and manzanita than Douglas fir and rhododendron.
