This is a difficult loop trail to Bull of the Woods in Mount Hood National Forest.

This trail goes by Pansy Lake and Dickey Lake.

Getting Started

Locating the trailhead can be tricky without cell reception. Be sure to download maps prior to entering the forest.

Taking Children

I would not recommend taking children on this hike due to steep difficult terrain, and wasps (summer).

    The end of this hike you are rewarded with a beautiful vista at a fire lookout. Be careful on this thing, as it's been decommissioned and now inhabited by copious amounts of wasps.
