The roundtrip to the summit & back was 9.15 miles. The trail is typical White mtn NH...lots of rocks. The trail was muddy in numerous spots but basically in OK shape. There are NO blazes for this trail but it's easy to follow. The cabin you come to is not the summit...that is about 0.2 miles farther. There is very limited view at the summit but there is a view point short side trail marked with a very small sign maybe 0.4 miles below the cabin which does have great views. It's a 4000 footer so you have to do it!
