What a hunt! Lots to sniff, Timber tigers to chase, and water for fetch! The creek was real high this go around- I made it across with no help from mom because I’m 55lbs and like to swim(mom says it’s my lab) but Oliver had to be carried my mom since he is only 25lbs- how embarrassing. The water was almost half way up mom too! And then mom wouldn’t throw fetch sticks because she thought I couldn’t handle it.
Lots of planties on the trail- I was making tunnels in the bottom but mom was getting whacked in the face by branches.

A gorgeous trail to the confluence of the Deschutes & Whychus Creek. The hike takes you from the rim to the creek, passing many interesting rock formations, crossing through (bring sandals/water shoes) Whychus creek with great views of the canyon. A few overgrown spots closer to the confluence but nothing crazy. Loved it, was in awe of the geology all afternoon!
