Overview
This 5-mi round trip hike is a rewarding and moderately strenuous out and back climb to Mount Crawford in White Mountain National Forest via Davis Path and Mt. Crawford Spur trail. The summit of Mt. Crawford offers 360 degree views of Crawford Notch and its surrounding peaks, the peaks of the Presidential Range, and many other peaks and ridges. A hike to Mt. Crawford is often combined with a hike to Stairs Mountain and/or Mt. Resolution.
Getting Started
Parking is available in a paved lot on the west side of route 302, Crawford Notch Rd., near the Notchland Inn.

Beautifully constructed historic trail ascends at a steady medium grade for the first hour or so. Close the summit, ledges open up and there are many fine views along the way. At the top, there are stunning full 360 degree views of nearby Crawford Notch, Stairs Mountain, with Mt. Lafayette and Mt. Washington in the distance.
