Blanton Ridge Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a easy out-and-back trail to 52nd & Willamette Trailhead in Blanton Ridge.

This trail goes by Blanton Ridge Trailhead and park desks.

Blanton Ridge features a 1.8 mile hiking-only trail between Willamette Street and Blanton Road that follows the east side of Blanton Ridge. Hikers pass through oak woodlands, prairies and Douglas-fir forest. This particular trail offers winter views of downtown Eugene and Mt. Baldy. Visitors can use the trailhead, information kiosk and parking lot on Blanton Road, or can park at the 52nd & Willamette Street trailhead, which is across the street from the other end of this trail.

Getting Started

When parking at the Blanton Ridge Trailhead, the trail is mostly uphill, but it is gradual. Lots of runners use this trail so be aware of your surroundings. Masks are required on this trail as it is quite busy.

Taking Children

This trail is great for children, but be aware that there is a lot of poison oak surrounding the path.
