It was rather warm and steep but what grand views and beautiful scenery in every direct. Worth taking a quick little walk down The Glacier Trail to the bridge to view a magnificent waterfall. Will be doing it again but will start earlier in the morning to avoid noonday sun
This is one of the best short hikes in the
Wind River Range, in terms of accessibility, beauty, and payoff at the end. Fairly steep (+1000 ft over 2.5 miles) but otherwise straight forward. Torrey Creek Dinwoody-style petroglyphs on the way to the trailhead are a bonus.
