Mirror Lake
Overview
A one way trail going from Mount Hood Highway, up around Mirror Lake. The trail starts out crossing a wooden bridge over a river and continues up to the right. You will pass a sign with a map of the area, giving a lot of great information about the hikes. From there it is pretty much a straight shot up a gradual slope to the lake. Once at the lake, you will see the iconic view of Mount Hood reflecting off of the surface. In the summer time, it can be busy, but on a hot day, nothing is more refreshing than taking a swim in Mirror Lake.
Getting Started
The trailhead now starts from the Skibowl parking lot up the road from where the old trailhead was (directly on Highway 26). See more info here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/mthood/recarea/?recid=53566
This is an alternate route for Mirror Lake via 664.
