Overview
This is a moderate out and back trail beginning in a quiet Holladay neighborhood. It is short but steep, with some loose rock and a boulder field that must be crossed to access the base of the waterfall. It is shaded and cooler than the valley during the summer, but the trail is bordered most of the way up by poison ivy. Rattlesnakes are common in the summer. This is a dog friendly hike, and once you cross the unmarked boundary into Uinta-Cache National Forest (approximately 0.15 miles up the trail) dogs are allowed off leash.
