Shades State Park Loop Hike (Trail 1 and 2)(edit)

Overview

This loop trail (made up of Trails 1 and 2) takes you past some great highlights in the park. You'll see, Devil's Punch bowl, Silver Cascade Falls, Steamboat Rock and Maidenhair Falls. Be prepared to possibly get your feet wet and to do a bit of stair climbing. It's all worth it though for what you see.

Getting Started

Park near the pond in the park for the best access to the trail. You can hike it in either direction.

Taking Children

This would be a good hike for older children.
