Overview
Trail 10 is a moderate loop. It goes down to the stream at the bottom of the ridge and then comes back up. Counterclockwise is the easiest way to follow this trail. The climb is more gradual than the clockwise route. There is also a CCC shelter build along the top of the ridge. Not much a view in the summer, but in the winter you can see through the trees and the views improve substantially.
Getting Started
Park by the fire tower and head east to pick up the trail.
Taking Children
This is a good hike for older kids. Younger children wouldn't appreciate the distance or the climbing.
