Overview
This is a easy one way trail to Phipps Arch in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
This trail goes by Maverick Bridge.

Beautiful hike with 3 knee deep river crossings and some very challenging navigation at the end to actually get up the butte to reach the arch. The "trail" on GAIA is only a generic route, it will not direct you to the only way up the butte. My track shows how we searched and finally found the one way to ascend the butte.

Near start take short ladder to stay on trail.
Wade in river 3 times between mile 0.9-1.5.
In Phipps wash cross barbed wire fence on far right.
Climb up final butte has only one spot through 6’ band of vertical rock, with a pile of rocks as a step up to reach hand holds.
Arch not visible until you are 100’ away.
