Sunnny and 75. Jumped on bike after going through gate. 6 miles to visitors center. Anne joined and 3 miles to Bright Angel and then 7 miles to Hermits Rest- about 5 miles on street first but only buses and bikes allowed. Last couple back on bike trail. We hit every overlook on the way. Entire ride hilly, bud doable, even for Anne. Could catch paved trail at visitors center in town 2 miles before gate too.
