Lake to trailhead taking short cuts
Very strenuous hike.. we divided to take the shortcuts back down to avoid the turn arounds and it helped a lot, total time for this hike back is longer than normal we had roughly 30lbs each on our backs. Would definitely recommend the campsite at Shower falls, it’s a good midway point and sets you up for a good peak hike ~8miles back to shower falls
