Kendall peak winter scramble 12/31/18
Avalanche danger was moderate. A persistent layer that had existed since first snow of the year had been downgraded. The main risk was wind slabs, but we didn't see any evidence of large wind-loaded faces. The final gully on the west side of the mountain was very steep, but provided great access to the top. Any further north and you'd find cliffs.
