This was a clear cool July day , more like a day from the end of September. I started at about 8:55 am and it was about 65F. Finished at about 12:57 and it was in high 70’s. This is a classic hike with remarkable views but always a challenge and strenuous with over 2000 foot elevation change . The best view is at the destination , looking down on a big lake. The initiated may stop short at an overlook to the right after coming down the hill from the Table Rock Summit. Take a look but keep going to the left of this overlook , for about 0.2-0.3 miles to get to the “ end” of the trail and the fantastic overlook over a big lake.
