Great hike with lots of elevation and a BLAST to run down (there was tons of great snow to run in). Thought it would be tough to trail-run in the snow, but it was awesome. Take sunscreen! The entire climb is out in the open, and the run in the snow completely crispy-fried us! Note: this trail is BUSY. The first mile or so is on tarmac paths, so it's not that enjoyable until you hit the dirt. From the high skyline trail peak you can see Camp Muir, so take some binoculars - it's pretty cool.
