Track (11/6/19, 9:02:11AM)
Five of us parked at Parallel Forest & hiked 3.7 miles exploring south & east of Wall Mt. It was a comfortable 56-60 degree, cloudy/foggy day. We got a little turned around in the beginning which caused us to see some new territory & to climb a 2011 ft peak that has no name that we know of....hence we named it "Milk Dud." (We found a lot of milk duds on the mountain....haha) Hiking from 9-12:30pm, our pace was comfortable (compared to the 1/2 Marathon last Friday) as we took pics, had lunch, found a couple of small mines, visited the arrastre & discussed its condition, & investigated a new to us tree in the P.F. that looked like a lemon or orange tree. All of us took a turn leading which resulted in taking a slightly different path than usual....& that is good. The Tenacious Trail Trekkers today were Lan Doan, Marki Payne, Pam Hurst, Peggy Avants, & Teddy Worthington: .
