Hot and sunny day. I hiked the loop from the campsite 3 miles total and met Anne at visitors center. We hiked the other 4 miles together. 80% of trails well groomed smooth gravel and just some areas little rocky. All shaded and areas with some old growth trees. Few rocky areas and few river views. Met the famous caver Rick Olson.
