Rob: Otter Falls - Snoqualmie Lake Trail
This is a great long hike without too much elevation gain. Almost takes longer to DRIVE to it than to actually hike it. The entrance road is Horrible. Capital H. We have a 4WD SUV, and it beat it up. Definitely one of the worst roads you'll encounter. Super dusty.
Parking is tight, but we got lucky and parked right at the trailhead. Northwest Forest Pass required.
Plenty of cool things to see. Turn left at the jean shorts (you'll know them when you see them) to go up and over to the "falls". Wasn't really running much when we were there, but it's a stunning little venue well worth the trip.
After heading back down to the trail, we turned left and carried on for another mile to hit the 2nd falls...most people didn't do this part, but it's worth it. Big concrete bridge overhanging a larger falls area. Adds 2 miles round trip.
