Parked at the Deer Creek gate and took the mountain bike up the Mountain Loop Highway to Barlow Pass after stopping at Big Four Mountain for a picture and then went up the Monte Cristo Trail across the river and into Monte Cristo itself for a couple of pictures. Then I returned on the reclamation road. Two thirds the way down the reclamation road, I realized I didn’t have my car keys anymore and had to go back and find them where I fell on the bike in a dry creek crossing attempt in the rocks. Luckily, I did find them, went down the reclamation road the rest of the way again, up to Barlow Pass again, and returned to the truck.
