Parked at the lower trailhead and headed North and counterclockwise around Blanchard Mountain and started into the British Army Trail. During the climb, about 5 miles into the ride, I lost the linkage between the freehub and cassette and couldn't transfer pedal torque to the rear wheel. I now had a scooter with 29" tires. I summitted North Butte and the Oyster Dome and then returned to the car completing a nice loop.
