Hiked Pelican Valley Trail to just before the creek crossing. Woman who worked in the park asked to join us since she was hiking alone, had interesting knowledge of park features, etc. Saw a wolf. Were about to exit valley when dad turned around and it was standing probably under 100 feet behind us. Saw bison
