After stealth night at Estes Park visitors center, in the park at 6:30am (still 20 cars deep at gate). Started hike as sun was coming over mountains. 1/2 mile Bear Lake loop was ADA and beautiful then upward Nymph Lake. Turned to 2 mile roundtrip to Lake Halyaha which was blue water surrounded by large boulders. Then up to Dream and Emerald Lakes. Emerald had beautiful green water and was at the end of the gorge. Trails were well worn with some rocks, especially heading up to Halyaha, and lots of people. While Anne iced her knee I did 2 miles total to Alberta Falls - double wide smooth trail that was down first, then little up to get to falls. This would be a better area to enjoy weekdays.
