Solo, Anne in NC. Sunny and 70. All paved and some bad root bumps and bridge transitions. About half was through mature Fir forest with ferns and moss along trail edges, very shaded. 800ft climb over 6 miles that was pleasant challenge, but Anne might not like. Nice to have good small towns on both ends. Really 3.5 rating.
