Spectacular views of the China Wall along so much of this hike. It was a big day of elevation gain (2.2K) over this 10-mile hike. My Lake (pond) was a bit disappointing but glorious to get into and wash off the dust. Seven Northern Shovelers were using the lake and returned after we got out.
