This was a surreal and stunning route, made especially memorable by the fact that park visitors are vastly reduced during Covid. I began my route at the trailhead sign for Cathedral Lakes at 6:05am on August 2, 2020 and was immediately reminded how unacclimated I am to high altitude adventures but was pleasantly distracted by the sunrise over Cathedral Peak, early morning light on Sunrise lakes, and the mind-bending view from Cloud's Rest (which I had entirely to myself!) before the quad thrashing descent to Nevada Falls where I refilled water bottled (and treated with iodine tablets) before slogging up to Glacier Point. By now temps were climbing to the 90's; I refilled my water bottles at the water fountain at Glacier Point before making the final descent to the valley. I stopped my watch at the trailhead sign for Four Mile Trail as noted in the photo.
