A trip to see the remains of McFarland, TN and the nearby Apalachia Hydro Plant.
While much of this trip is "off-road", the roads are mostly gravel forest-service roads which are reasonably well maintained and accessible without the need for 4x4. We had a stock Subaru Forester in our group and they had no problems.
